Blood of Dawnwalker treats time as a crucial resource, as that may mean the difference between Coen losing or saving his family. Despite this, there are several side quests and encounters in the game that shouldn’t be missed. Sacred Stones are a good example, as they offer a solid reward. However, finding the Sacred Stones can be cumbersome, so here’s a guide on how to locate them in Blood of Dawnwalker.
What Are Sacred Stones in Blood of Dawnwalker?
Sacred Stones are linked to the A Pilgrimage for Power quest and can be found in Uriashi sacred sites. Each site has an Uriashi Glyph, which must be investigated. You are rewarded with one Ravenous Flock Manual and 250 XP for completing each stone. Completing all four stones provides the manuals needed to unlock all the progression tiers of the Ravenous Flock Witchcraft ability. Players must read the manual and spend skill points and time segments at a Shrine to purchase the upgrades.
You must deal with encounters at each of the four stones’ locations. Three focus on you taking down enemies, while the fourth relies on your investigative skills and dealing with an Uriash character. There is no fixed order for completing the stones, and you can find them irrespective of whether it’s daytime or nighttime.
How to Find the Sacred Stones in Blood of Dawnwalker
Coen can hear wind chimes when he approaches a Sacred Stone’s route. The sound of the wind chimes can become easier to identify by using Focus Mode. You can then easily follow the mountain paths and look for white chalk markings on rocks to locate the sites. Stone cairns are another environmental navigation marker that may be found along mountain trails leading to Sacred Stones.
These are important visual and audio clues, as the sites aren’t immediately displayed as map markers. If you don’t want to investigate the clues to find the sites, you can complete the A Mother’s Plea quest. Completing the quest should reveal all the Sacred Stone sites on the map.
There is no set time in which you need to collect the stones, and all four are set apart from each other. This is why it may be better to collect the stones during other exploration rather than focusing on all four during one single trip. Approaching the wind-chime trails can also initiate the individual A Pilgrimage for Power side quest.

Each Sacred Stone is located in a different arena, and you need to complete an encounter or investigation to get the rewards.
Bear Trouble
This stone is located west of the Briar Sloughs Scouting Tower and south of Laslea Glen. Listen to the wind chimes and climb the mountain. You will need to cross an abandoned camp before you reach a plateau. The site is guarded by a Ravenous Bear; defeat it, investigate the nearby Uriashi corpse and bloody knife, and interact with the glyph.
Collecting the stone will reward you with 250 XP and a Ravenous Flock Manual.
Dark-Thing
You can locate this site by starting at Westridge Outpost Shrine and heading north up the rocky slot. Follow the wind chimes until you reach a blocked path. You can use Shadowstep and Planeshift during the night to cross the blocked wall, but you must climb the ledge during the day. Regardless of how you reach the miniboss, Essence of Grief, defeat it and head to the Uriashi pilgrims and interact with them. You can tell them you’re “Just a wanderer” and “I killed the dark-thing” to keep the encounter friendly.

Fanatics
This stone stands apart from the rest because it has been destroyed. Head northeast from Woodland Outpost Shrine into the hills near a bandit camp. Follow the wind chimes uphill, kill the wolves that appear, and you will find the destroyed site. Investigate the bodies and the wooden cross to find a paper containing a drawing of the glyph. This stone is different from others, as it can’t be collected and you must copy the glyph instead.
If you want to avoid fighting the Uriashi, respond “So…what now?” and then “These fanatics deserved it”. You will get 250 XP and a Ravenous Flock Manual for your troubles.
The Ritual
This is the final stone located in the Tantari Woods near the southern edge of Vale Sangora, which is southeast of Vedera Spring Shrine. The wind chimes will lead you through a storm, lightning, and burning trees. You will find the Witch of Barren Peaks, whose lightning attacks can’t be blocked. Dodge the witch and attack when possible. Loot her body for an Aether Flow Manual, the epic ring Crimson Band, and the Aetheric Essence.
Interact with the final glyph to get the final 250 XP and the Ravenous Flock Manual.
