- Pull the silver plate out of the console by gently pulling it towards you, revealing the motherboard.
- It will feel stiff, but as long as you removed all the screws, it will come off effortlessly.
- You’ll then want to remove the two silver cross plates located directly above the console’s motherboard.
- Using incredible care, remove the motherboard and place it aside.

- Using a soldering iron and a heat source, you’ll be able to remove the old HDMI port from the board.
- Be careful to clean the area where the port used to be before replacing it.
- Carefully attach the new port to the board and solder it in place.
