Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls looks to give some good competition to the fighting genre. PS5 players have seen various State of Play events where they showcase the title. From Captain America to Ghost Rider, players have a variety of heroes to choose from. And like other fighting titles, testing your skills against other players online is a given. But with games being exclusives, many may be curious to know whether this title will also be a PS5 exclusive. Luckily, we know the details. So you can plan if you and your other gaming platform friends can fight each other.
Is Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls a PS5 Exclusive?
No, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is not a PS5 exclusive. The title is also coming to PC. Therefore, players don’t need to worry about picking up a specific platform if they own one or the other. However, even with this, players from the past generation of PlayStation 4 are out of luck. The title is not making its way to that console. Furthermore, the title is also not currently making its way to either the Xbox Series X/S or the Switch.
This doesn’t necessarily mean that the game won’t branch to other consoles. But at launch, players wanting the game are going to have to pick it up for either PS5 or PC. And because of this limitation, you may be curious if the game is going to feature crossplay. That way, you can play with those in the community elsewhere.

Is Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Crossplay?
Yes, Marvel Tokon is going to be featuring full crossplay when it releases on August 6, 2026. This means players can matchmake against each other on either platform. Additionally, you don’t have to wait for the feature to come in an update. As it will be available right at launch. It’s something that is a positive for the entire community, as it only allows for it to be bigger upon release. Instead of worrying about it needing to grow, it can find a strong footing with the number of players that can play together on both platforms.
Marvel Tokon is shaping up to be a blast from Arc System Works. And bringing the 4v4 Tag-Team system into the fold looks to change things in fighting. Or at least bring something fresh to the table besides the usual one-on-one we are used to seeing. The game not being on more consoles is a shock. But at least PS5 players can enjoy matching up with those on PC.
