Similar to games like Minecraft and Fortnite, Roblox has become a game that can be found on just about any platform (except for Nintendo’s, for some reason). As a result, many players prefer to play the experience-based game on either console, mobile, or PC. For some players, there’s no decision in what to play the game on because the PlayStation 5 is the superior way to play. However, how much truth does that really hold? Is the PS5 really the best way to experience Roblox, or are fanboys of the console just saying that because they don’t have anything to compare the experience to? Let’s find out!
Experiencing Roblox on the PS5
Many gamers, not just PlayStation fans, prefer to play Roblox on their PS5. Why? Well, unlike its opposition, Xbox, the game doesn’t require an online membership for you to play. Typically, Xbox players need to have Game Pass in order to play any of their games online. It doesn’t matter if you physically own the game or not, don’t expect there to be any online play without having a membership. However, while PlayStation has a similar concept called PlayStation Plus, players don’t need it to play their favorite Roblox experiences!
Roblox experiences are also automatically tailored to controller use since they just abide by the default controller input for the keyboard. That way, no matter what the Roblox game is, you can play it on your PlayStation 5 without any issue! Personally, I enjoy getting to play Roblox on my living room television using the PlayStation 5. Since the app is crossplay and cross-save, I can switch things up and play on my phone or PC when I’m done playing on my console.
All in all, I would definitely go out and say that the PS5 is the best way to play Roblox, no matter what experience you’re enjoying.
