How to Set Up Cronus Zen on Controller
To set up the device with your PS5, you need to install Zen Studio on your PC. Follow these instructions to do that with ease:
- Using the PROG USB port on the Cronus Zen, connect the device to your PC.
- With the device connected, open up Zen Studio Version 1.5.0 Build 76.
- Head to the Device tab.
- At the bottom of the page, set the Output Protocol to PlayStation 5 in Emulator Mode.
- Now, go to the Programmer tab.
- Drag and of the available GamePacks and drag it to a free memory slot.
- Unplug the PROG USB cable, and you’re good to go!
How to Set Up Cronus Zen on Your Console
Now that the controller is set up, you need to change your settings on the PS5. Follow these instructions to do so:
- Disable your console’s Bluetooth.

Although the Cronus Zen website declares that its product works on the PlayStation 5, several users have said it does not as of the January 24 update. Consequently, if the update was done, then the product would no longer work. Currently, the temporary solution to this issue is to play your games using PS Remote Play.
