Is No Rest for the Wicked Coming to PS5?Will No Rest for the Wicked Be Available on PS4?

No Rest for the Wicked, coming to the PS5, would be a dream come true for many. Especially those who adore the ARPG genre like myself. In a time with Diablo and Path of Exile reigning supreme, getting a fresh entry can do wonders. While those games are great in their own right, having a fresh experience is always good. And with the hyped that players have behind No Rest for the Wicked, it’s no wonder players on PS5 want to be able to play it. More so with the addition of co-op that the game received recently. However, we do know for sure now if No Rest for the Wicked is making its way to PS5.

Is No Rest for the Wicked Coming to PS5?

Yes, No Rest for the Wicked is coming to the PS5. Developers Moon Studios confirm that they plan for the game to launch on the console during the 1.0 update. Additionally, the game is going to be released for the Xbox Series X/S during this time as well. Showing that the game has made the full leap to official release with this development. However, we don’t know when to expect the release of the 1.0 update that brings consoles into the fold. So while we do know that the game will receive a PS5 port, the official timing is uncertain. Although if you head into the PlayStation Store right now, you can currently wishlist it, so we know it is going to come.

Like with other indie-developed games, they start on PC. That way, the team can focus on perfecting the game on just the one port first. Then, when it’s ready, the team can get it ready for the other platforms to enjoy. Hence, some of these titles don’t launch until their 1.0 updates. The developers feel the game is ready for a full release.

Will No Rest for the Wicked Be Available on PS4?

No Rest for the Wicked is currently not projected to be released on the PS4 when it comes to consoles. It seems Moon Studios is developing the game for current-generation consoles only. More than likely, it means to lessen the workload when you only have one console generation to port for. Furthermore, it allows the team to make use of the upgraded technology that only the current systems offer over their predecessors.

For the time being, we can only see on PC what to expect from the game. However, the developers seem to be putting plenty of care into their work. By taking the time on PC, they can work out plenty of bugs and change gameplay mechanics to suit the community. That way, when it comes time for console players to enjoy it, we get to experience the game at its best.
