While consoles are extremely popular among gamers, it’s a fact that some game developers just prefer to release their games on PC first. This could either be because of the easier development cycle, or to test the waters with the PC fanbase. The same is true for Schedule 1, the crime simulator game.
While the game saw much success on PC, the looming question is whether it’s also available on the PS5. Unfortunately for players, the answer may not be what they were initially expecting, since while a Schedule I is on the PS5, it isn’t the one they were expecting.
Did Schedule 1 Come Out On The PS5?
The popular PC crime simulation game Schedule 1 was released on Steam in March 2025 in early access. The game hasn’t come out on consoles yet, and there hasn’t been a release date or even confirmation that the game will get console ports. The official developer did say that he’d love to release the game on consoles, but there aren’t really any plans in place at this time.
While there is indeed a Schedule I on the PS5, it’s completely different from Schedule 1. The game on PlayStation is more of a knockoff that has a similar crime-related premise but isn’t the same as the viral PC game. It’s because of the confusion revolving around the listing that the Schedule 1 developer had to make a post on X alerting fans about it.
Hi everyone,
As you may be aware, there have been some games on the PlayStation store appearing over the past few weeks with the name ‘Schedule I’ in them. Just confirming these are not affiliated with me in any way.
I’d love to port Schedule I to console when the game is at…

As for whether there’s any way to play Schedule 1 on PS5, unfortunately, there isn’t. Since the game’s developer, TVGS, is new, Schedule 1 is the only game the team has developed. This means that there’s no alternative by the same studio that players can play. The good news is that this doesn’t mean that Identity V won’t eventually get a PS5 port.
