Fortnite’s upcoming Zero Hour event is coming soon, ending off Chapter 7 with a possible Hatsune Miku feature! Miku has made her appearance in Fortnite before to the surprise and applause of many, but her reappearance is definitely something to celebrate. Her fanbase is not only huge, but she’s a vocaloid popstar loved by many across the world. Here’s what the rumors and supposed confirmations for her performance entail.
📅When & What is Fortnite’s Zero Hour Event?

Fortnite’s Zero Hour new live event is a promised spectacle to end off Battle Royale’s Chapter 7. Based on the trailer released recently, the event features many popular Hollywood characters and properties such as Godzilla, King Kong, Kill Bill, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and much more. There’s even references of bringing Back to the Future into Fortnite too! For more information about Fortnite’s Zero Hour Event, we can help! We have lots of news and guides surrounding several Fortnite modes and rare fortnite accounts for you to check out.
But when does the event officially drop? According to Fortnite’s official news blog, the event will air on November 29th at 2pm, ET. Based on the trailer and the blog, players might be participating in an active battle, but we’ll just have to wait and see!
Another special bonus to remember is the exclusive Yuki Yubari skin. For anyone who logs into Fortnite from November 27th to December 1st, you can unlock it for free. The skin is meant to promote the Kill Bill collaboration, and will be limited to this event only. Get it while you can!
❓Hatsune Miku is in Zero Hour?

While many characters and franchises made their guest appearance in the Zero Hour trailer, many haven’t been made official yet. However, Fortnite introduced a feature in-game that has silently confirmed several. In Fortnite’s item shop, there’s a new tab that players can access. This tab is meant for the Zero Hour event. In it, items and skins rotate revealing some confirmed characters to appear in the finale.
On November 25th, Hatsune Miku along with a bunch of Miku styled items appeared in the shop. This made so many players rejoice at the news, spreading it like wildfire. While we’re unsure whether Miku will have a performance during Zero Hour, the chances of it are incredibly strong. The news also at the very least confirms her appearance in the upcoming Battle Royale chapter.
🎤Has Hatsune Miku Been in Fortnite Before?

This actually isn’t the first time that Hatsune Miku has appeared in Fortnite. In the Fortnite Festival, which is a rhythm game mode that plays similar to Rockband or Guitar Hero, Miku was a featured artist for its 7th season. In that season’s Music Pass, which is basically the Battle Pass meant for the festival mode, you could unlock several similar cosmetics and skins to play as Miku.
The pass also featured several new tracks to play in the game mode, all playing in the Vocaloid genre. These included songs like ‘Daisy 2.0,’ ‘Miku,’ and ‘World is Mine.’ Each features the lovable artist’s iconic vocals, along with their producers. However, there isn’t enough confirmation yet over whether these tracks will appear in Battle Royale, or reappear at all.

Something curious though has been discovered surrounding Miku’s confirmation that raises some eyebrows. In the Music Pass, several cosmetics and items were featured. The bundle was so big, that you could even get some items meant for Battle Royale too! These included car decals, new back blings, and more. However, based on the confirmations that have been posted, the items look incredibly similar.
Noting the cosmetics, it’s possible that Hatsune Miku’s past items from the Music Pass could be getting a rerun. We’ve witnessed performance acts in Live Events get their featured items before. The Eminem Godzilla event is a big example of such. It’d be preferable for there to be new cosmetics mixed with the old, giving players a chance to gather them all.
🎵Possible Teto and Song Appearances

Once again, there isn’t enough confirmation surrounding Miku to note what songs could appear in Fortnite. The most we can do for now is wait and create some fun theories till then! However, some other possible leaks have dropped surrounding her. Teto, a Utauloid artist who has been featured alongside Miku in several songs, is hinted to appear in Fortnite too!
If the leaks are true, then we can make some guesses to popular songs joining the game. A big, fan favorite example is ‘Mesmerizer,’ which took the Vacaloid community by storm in its debut just a year ago. The song actually has Teto and Hatsune Miku performing together, so it’d make perfect sense to add such a recognizable track. Considering the leaks also being correct about the LISA Fortnite Festival event, Teto’s appearance is looking to be quite possible.
